Residential Property Inspection Services

As of 20 March 2019, under the new 'Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act'. This act ensures that landlords will be responsible for the maintenance of the property. This means ensuring that the tenants will be safe, healthy and free from things that can cause serious harm. This can range from general property neglect including damp and mould growth to more serious issues such as carbon monoxide, electrical and fire hazards. If a Landlord is found to be negligent it could result in the court awarding compensation.

To ensure full compliance, it is necessary that landlords organise routine inspections of the property. These inspections will identify hazards within the property preventing negligence.
